JOB OFFER - Installation technicien

Your Role

Reporting to the production supervisor, you will install, maintain, and repair specialized systems on heavy machinery directly at our customers' sites. This is a hands-on, independent, and technical role, where your resourcefulness, practicality, and attention to detail will make all the difference in the field.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Installing lubrication systems, on-board scales, cameras, sensors, and other technologies on heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, graders, etc.)
  • Perform welding, drilling, painting, and parts adaptation as needed
  • Perform electrical work (12/24 V) in cabins or confined spaces
  • Run hydraulic hoses and install valves according to plans
  • Diagnose problems and report any defects observed
  • Manage your service unit (Ford Transit 250) and inventory
  • Complete service reports in the ERP using the iPad and phone provided
  • Provide professional customer service

  • Competitive salary: $30 to $35/hour depending on your experience and skills
  • Stable schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with little overtime

Your profile

  • Vocational diploma, high school diploma, or equivalent training in mechanics, hydraulics, or electricity
  • Relevant experience in installing or maintaining systems on heavy machinery
  • Comfortable with welding, 12/24 V electricity, and hydraulics
  • Valid driver's license
  • Independent, thorough, resourceful, and customer service-oriented
  • Comfortable working outdoors, summer and winter
  • French required, functional English (an asset)
  • Knowledge of safety standards (lockout, working at heights, etc.)
