As a Territory director, you will be the face of this mission, establishing strong relationships with our clients while contributing to their success. You will play an essential role in the development and management of our portfolio of technological products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospecting: Identify and contact new potential clients to expand the company's client portfolio.
- Relationship Development: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and supporting them through the purchase process.
- Product/Service Presentation: Present the company's products or services convincingly, highlighting their relevant features and benefits for clients.
- Negotiation: Negotiate sales terms, prices, and payment conditions with clients, ensuring maximum value for the company while meeting client needs.
- Sales Follow-up: Regularly follow up with clients to address questions, resolve issues, and ensure their satisfaction.
- Sales Cycle Management: Effectively manage the sales process from start to finish, identifying opportunities, qualifying prospects, presenting solutions, closing sales, and ensuring proper follow-up.
- Time Management: Efficiently manage your time to maximize productivity, prioritizing activities and focusing on the most promising opportunities.
- Market Knowledge: Maintain a thorough knowledge of the market, competitor products, and industry trends to better position the company's offerings.
- CRM Reporting: Enter customer and prospect data into the CRM, including their contact information, past interactions, needs, and preferences.
- Continuous Training: Stay informed of new sales techniques, company products, and services by participating in training and seeking professional development opportunities.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- A passion for heavy equipment and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by heavy equipment owners.
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the industrial sector.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
- A positive, solution-oriented attitude with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Availability for frequent field travel.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary degree required.
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales, using a solutions sales approach, and at least 3 years of experience selling to managers and senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage accounts with an average revenue base.
- Knowledge of a CRM system.
- Familiarity with the relevant territory and industry for the sales position.
- Availability to travel (minimal annual travel required).
