The ALLFETT greasing system system protects your equipment. Automatic lubrication insures continuous lubrication at regular intervals on all greasing points.
Ideal for medium to large size industrial machines of many sector which require a regular amount of grease.
The Allfett progressive lubrication system offers a maximal performance and flexibility. It is a versatile system thus very easily personalized. There modular system and the multiple choices of pumps offer a variety of configurations which adapt to all applications.
The system
The Alltech Group proposes two ALLFETT greasing progressive systems :
ALL-10 system (6L): Ideal for medium to large size machines which require a regular amount of grease.
ALL-10 system (14L): Ideal for large size machines which require a large amount of grease.
Each system is Pre-Calibrated in order to distribute the ideal grease to each point. Each machine has their customized calibration in order to meet the lubrication chart. The system is adapted to all types of machines.
Principal function
The principal function is very simple: An electric drive permits the rotation of a cam which activates one or many pumping elements (piston). The grease is then directed with high pressure towards the distribution blocs which are calibrated to distribute the proper amount of grease to each point.
The progressive distribution valve function is to distribute grease to the other valves and points of lubrication. In each section, there is a valve that is used to start the lubricant. This is successively pushed to one side to another by the lubricant in a manner to which starts progressively towards the exits, one after another.
The amount of lubrication supplied by the pump is divided in the progressive valve and distributed to the lubrication points depending on the value of the section which supplies it. The amount delivered (cc) and the duration of the cycle from the pump determines the total amount sent to the lubrication points.
Advantages
Longer lasting components are the top advantages. The potential savings through the increase lifespan of the components and an increase of productivity along with a more efficient consumption of grease will insure you a return on your investment.
Permits to save significantly on grease up to 50% compared to greasing manually.
Each point receives a precise amount of lubricant corresponding to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Maximize performance in eliminating lost time due to shut down for maintenance and repair.
Reduces maintenance costs and repair costs.
Insures a complete lubrication of the machine.
Increases the life span of the parts linked to the system compared to a manual lubrication.
Increases the resale value of the equipment.
CHARACTERISTICS
Pressure between 3000 to 6000 PSI
The lubrication system functions at a pressure varying between 3000 to 6000 PSI.
Customized calibration
Each system is pre-calibrated in order to distribute the ideal grease to each point. Each machine has their customized calibration in order to meet the lubrication chart. The system is adapted to all types of machines.
High resistance grease
It uses a a high resistance grease which permits a more efficient lubrication on surfaces subjected to friction, a better adhesion to parts along with a reduction of the quantity of grease used.
Detection of point blocked
The greasing system permits detection if there is a point that is blocked (electric pressure switch with gauge) and permits to have a ‘’T’’ fitting as a point for a manual feed if the system fails.
Increases performance
The system functions once the machine is running (connection is through the ignition).
A careful installation
The hoses are installed on the operator’s side so they are visible and are protected by a shielding.
Personalized system
Versatiles system which is personalized very easily to all applications. Many options are available to customize your systems.
Hoses and re-usable fittings easily available.
The Alltech Group has a large inventory of parts and hoses; as well as all authorized distributors.

GREASE
Grease is the key element to your lubrication system. The choice of grease type is particularly important for the proper function of the system and will have direct impact on its efficiency.
Recommended greases
After having analyzed the operating functions of all automatic greasing systems, here are the recommended types of grease that you can use in your Allfett progressive lubrication systems:
Oil base: viscosity at 40°C between 100 and 220 cSt approximately.
Thickener : lithium or sulfonate calcium type.
Additives : extreme pressure
Grade NLGI: 1 and 2 (For the cold regions, change the EP-1 in October up till April and put EP-2 from April to October.)
Elements that are not desirable
A high oil base that will slow down the mobility.
Certain thickeners such as baryum, argiles, etc.
Solid additives is not guaranteed when at their fineness (less than 3 microns) such as graphite, moly 5% and +, copper, etc.
ATTENTION! Mixing different types of grease may damage your system.
That’s why for all other non-listed greases, please confirm with your ALLFETT distributor if it is acceptable or not at the risk of a void warranty if you use non-accepted grease.
Purging of your system
It is also recommend to bleed the system before adding new grease or during seasonal changes. The Alltech Group offers a grease change procedure to prevent damage to your systems.
Precautions to take before changing grease
When it is absolutely necessary to change the type of grease, a certain amount of precautionary elements need to be taken:
Check that the assemblies used permit the escape of any excess grease, if not insure to purge the biggest quantity possible out of the system.
Verify that the equipment is in good shape, there is no incompatible accessories (ex. O rings), the sets are correct and there is no damages that can contribute to a new lubricant.
Attention of the bearings filling conditions: if they are foreseen to function with a limited quantity of grease, abnormal overheating could result from an abundance of new grease.
Purging procedures
Eliminate the biggest quantity possible of the old grease before introducing the new grease to the pump.
While the feeding lines are unplugged pump slowly the new grease until the old grease is completely evacuated. Consistency changes and/or the color of the grease evacuated, if it does exist, could indicate the renewal.
Repeat the procedures for each distribution valve and feeding lines which can be attached. Each distribution valve is equipped with a grease nipple to facilitate the task.
Increase manually the quantity of grease introducing to different greasing points during both of the following lubrication operation. The extra grease flow helps to evacuate the rest of the old grease and improve grease especially if softening caused by mixture.
After a week of functioning, proceed with a visual inspection in order to insure that there is no harmful chemical reaction to the lubrication system.
Take into consideration all unusual changes relating to the lubrication system. (Potential changes in the energy consumption, the lubrication frequency, vibrations, overheating, etc.).
WARRANTY

The Alltech Group warranty is set out for the period outlined below, against manufacturing and material defects, insofar as they are installed, operated and maintained within accordance with the specific instructions by the Alltech Group.
WARRANTY PERIOD
The warranty period is only valid for ALLFETT lubrication systems along with its components.
The warranty period begins on the date which the system is installed (specified on the warranty card) or the date the vehicle is registered . The warranty period is also limited based on the usage (number of hours on the machine). The time which is indicated on the machine when the system is installed.
This warranty may be transferred if the machine is sold within the warranty period.
Replacements parts installed during the warranty period will not extend the manufacturer’s standard warranty. However the installed parts will carry their own warranties. (1 year, parts only).

RECOMMENDATION
The Alltech Group recommends to perform maintenance checks to your lubrication system at the beginning of spring and at the end of fall. Despite the fact that this maintenance may be performed by any recognized business, the Alltech Group recommends the owner of the vehicle to contact the designated distributor within their region. An inappropriate or incorrect repair or maintenance could make your warranty Null and Void. Parts such as the hoses, fittings, fuses are not covered on the warranty.
NOTE! This document covers the principal points of the warranty which covers the ALLFETT lubrication system and the components. To consult the complete policy, contact the Alltech Group.
FINANCING
The Alltech Group now offers Leasing for all products offered.
Our objective is to help entrepreneurs and self-employed workers to obtain custom financial services.
What is leasing?
Leasing is a very popular financing method among companies purchasing equipment commonly called assets or capital assets. The equipment is financed by equal monthly instalments for terms of 24 to 66 months, with end-of contract options meeting the need you may have to acquire the equipment at the end of the term. In addition, those installments are recognized as a tax expenditure. Leasing thus offers you several advantages.
