Since September 1, 2020, the Regulation respecting safety devices for tipping trailers has been in effect. Thus, all heavy vehicles and combinations of vehicles with a combined gross weight rating of 4,500 kg or more (for example, a pickup truck pulling a dump trailer) and whose dump body exceeds 4.15 m in the raised position must be equipped with an audible warning device and a warning light which activate automatically when the body is not fully lowered.

How to check the safety device?
