As a Product Manager - Technical Solutions, you will be the face of this mission, establishing strong relationships with our clients and distributors while contributing to their success. You will play an essential role in the development and management of our portfolio of technological products. You will be responsible for defining product strategy, managing product life cycles, and coordinating technical efforts between engineering, marketing, sales, and business development teams. You must be comfortable traveling occasionally to Canada and the United States.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the entire life cycle of technical projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and according to specifications.
- Evaluate customer requirements and propose technical solutions tailored to their needs.
- Ensure effective communication with customers to understand their expectations and ensure satisfaction.
- Identify potential risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
- Manage the creation, maintenance, and updating of technical documentation, including user manuals, maintenance guides, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional teams to collect, organize, and validate technical information.
- Establish and maintain a technical document management system to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Provide technical support to sales and customer service teams by answering questions and providing relevant information.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of technical data by conducting regular checks and updating information as needed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify potential improvements to processes and systems related to technical information.
- Develop technical training programs covering relevant theoretical and practical aspects of the subjects to be taught.
- You must be comfortable traveling occasionally to Canada and the United States.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field of industrial mechanics.
- Proficiency in French, both oral and written, as well as intermediate proficiency in English, both oral and written, due to the nature of tasks or interactions with English-speaking colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers.
- Genuine interest in solving complex problems within often tight timeframes.
- A "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude that is essential for small businesses.
- Ability to see the big picture while working on important small details.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Full-time permanent position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
- Offices in Vaudreuil-Dorion, with parking and easy access to highways 20, 30, and 40.
- 2 weeks of vacation and 4 sick days per year.
