JOB OFFER - INSTALLATION TECHNICIEN
Groupe Alltech is looking to find the person who can make a difference in its business as an installation technician. Alltech Group specializes in the distribution of work tools for the heavy, road and industrial equipment sector. We are an exclusive supplier of several lines of maintenance and safety products that increase equipment productivity and employee safety.
The company is located in Vaudreuil-Dorion and the person we are looking for will be called upon to work on the road to serve our valued customers on the island of Montreal and its surroundings. This is a full-time, daytime position.

YOUR CHALLENGES
Install and do maintenance (repair) various types of lubrication, on-board scale, camera or detection systems on heavy machinery (e.g. loader, excavator, grader)
This varied position will lead you, among other things, to;
- Weld, drill and paint various parts to complete your installation
- Do electricity connection in restricted places (ex: cabin)
- Run grease hoses and install valves according to the drawings provided Install pressure sensors to hydraulic hoses for our on-board scales.
- Perform calibrations for our on-board scales, our camera and pedestrian detection systems
- Evaluate, diagnose and report defects that require repairs
- Work with our quality standards (which make us famous!) and travel with our service unit to the customer or on site
- A small administrative component on a tablet (iPad), because it is always necessary (eg follow-up of work orders, timesheet, work reports)
IS THIS YOUR PROFILE?
- Did your professional career lead you to learn mechanics, electricity, hydraulics?
- Do you perhaps have relevant training related to these fields (hydraulics, electricity, mechanics)?
- You have an ability to write, read and discuss in French and a knowledge of English (asset)
- Are you someone who is recognized for his team spirit, his ability to take charge of his projects and to have customer service at heart?
- You have a manual profile, who likes mechanics and you are always the one who knows how to fix something?
- Do you like to discuss to fully understand and meet customer needs, in this last crucial step of the sales process?
- You have a valid driver's license
