The beginning of fall is the perfect season to do a full inspection of your lubrication systems. Especially for snow removal equipment and also for construction equipment. Scheduled inspection will allow you to detect and resolve problems before the work. Keeping your equipment in optimal condition can be more productive!
The most important step; grease change
Cold weather is just around the corner, it's important to replace summer grease (EP NLGI 2) of your ALLFETT lubrication systems with winter grease (EP NLGI 1 or 0) . Grease is the key component of your lubrication system. The type of grease chosen is particularly important for the operation of the system and will have a direct impact on its efficiency.

Step not to be neglected: Daily summary inspection
A summary visual inspection should be made on a daily basis by the operator:
- Check if there is a thin layer of fresh grease at each lubrication point
- Make sure all hoses and adapters are in place and not leaking
- Check the electronic card to make sure there are no alarms
- Summary inspection ensures that once the equipment is up and running, everything is functional. No need to turn back for a minor break and lose production time.
Do a test cylce (additional cycle button) on the electronic card to make sure that the pump works well and that the pressure rises on the pressure gauge of the pump
